Woke up a bit late, about 9 am as we had free time until 1 pm. Check out time is 12 pm. We went down for having breakfast and had a stroll at Patong beach, so quiet there. Maybe it’s too early for tourists for sun bathing. We then back to hotel prepared for checking out. After it’s clear, we returned the room key to receptionist and she returned my deposit. We kept our baggage at lobby while we were going out to have lunch. We had lunch at food haven, food court inside Jungceylon mall. 2 portions of pork rice, 1 bowl thick noodle soup, 2 bottles mineral with total amount 360 Baht. After that, we went back to hotel waiting a driver picked us up for city tour.
This driver didn’t talk too much with us, maybe he couldn’t speak English fluently. He just mentioned the name of places where we stopped on the tour. He drove us passing Kata beach then Karon beach for sightseeing then we stopped at Karon View Point where we saw Phuket especially the beaches from top of the hill. What a beautiful scenery. We then continued to Promthep Cape, another view point. People usually go there to see sunset, there is also a light house museum.
Then we continued with Rawai Beach sightseeing, after that went to Chalong Temple. It was heavy rain when we arrived at temple, we got stuck there. My trouser was half wet, no choice, we had to stay inside temple waiting for drizzle. From temple, we went to gem and pearl shop named Wang Talang and …. I forget the other one. I didn’t buy anything, it’s expensive. We then went to snack shop Sri Bhurapa Orchid, hah! this one I liked. There are so many snacks sold there, the price is 100 Baht up. We were out of control, spent 2,350 Baht to buy many snacks here, hehehe and at last they gave me bonus a pack of shredded pork, wow!
We went to Tunk Ka Café on top of hill to have early dinner. Heavy rain was coming again. They prepared 4 kinds of dish for us + fruit and mineral water. Time showed almost 6 pm when we were heading to airport. Finally we arrived there, I tipped the driver and did self check in as the boarding time was 8.40 pm. We were back to Jakarta again.
Well, that’s all my Phuket story. Hm….thinking of another trip now, maybe it will be Hongkong and Macau ^o^
